ARTHUR HULL IN OSLO SEPTEMBER 26th - 28th

COMMUNITY BUILDING THROUGH RYHTHM.
ARTHUR HULL IN OSLO SEPTEMBER 26th - 28th

This is a weekend intensive with the father of the modern community drumcircle Arthur Hull from Village Music Circles in California.

ABOUT THE FACILITATORS´ PLAYSHOP
This Playshop is a ton of fun, loaded with valuable information and hands-on learning - an incredible experience that will change your life!
Come join us!

The Facilitators´ Playshops are trainings designed to build leadership and presentation skills using the community drum circle as a model. As personal growth and skills building programs Playshops combine didactic learning as well as experiential processes that train participants to use rhythm in
creating a successful community event.

You do not need to be a musician to participate. Facilitators´ Playshops are structured to allow people of all backgrounds and experience levels to achieve successes.

"If you´re ready to have your ´rhythm soul zipper´ unzipped, your passion called out, be coached hard, play hard, laugh a lot, connect deeply, get stretched to the max, be inspired, come home ready to go, then six months later begin to understand and
appreciate what you REALLY got gifted... go be with Arthur. He´s the Master man."

Free Community Drumcircle open for all at the end of the playshop Sunday afternoon.

[please feel free to pass this message on to other lists]

Best regards

Program Content and Activities

The Weekend Facilitators´ Training begins Friday evening and ends Sunday afternoon. These days are packed with information and experiences designed to give the participant the confidence, tools and inspiration necessary to facilitate a rhythm based event and to build a rhythm community in their home environment.

This experiential intensive includes learning and practice with facilitation theory and techniques. Through small group activities using movement, voice, musical instruments and improvisational games participants will learn group leadership skills, platform presentation techniques and body language communication. The training culminates in the Community Drum Circle finale, which will give participants an opportunity to practice and observe the skills learned during the weekend.

Program content and structure is based on the innovative facilitation techniques developed by Arthur Hull and published in his book , Drum Circle Spirit: Facilitating Human Potential Through Rhythm. This book is the required text for the weekend.

No experience is necessary to attend.

You do not have to be a musician to participate. This program is designed to be as much a personal growth process as a technical skills training. Beginning facilitators to advanced trainers have found the playshops to be stimulating and insightful.

Educational Objectives

At the completion of the Weekend Facilitators´ training participants will have a practical understanding of the basic techniques necessary to successfully lead and facilitate groups of any size and composition through a community rhythm event.

We will inspire individuals into a dynamic, supportive group as we build our rhythm community. With new skills, self confidence and the support of their fellow facilitators participants are empowered to bring their new skills home, to the environments where they live and work.
